"That... might be easiest. I could get one of my brothers ta drop it off..."
Raccoon gave her a small smile. "Don't lose the chance of not knowin'. Write how ya feel and want him ta know. An' give him a chance ta reply before you leave or go away."
There seemed to be a bit of hope in Lacey's eyes. She was not fully into the idea, but she had the willingness to give it a try at least.

”Don’t lose the chance of not knowin’. Write how ya feel and want him ta know. An’ give him a chance ta reply before you leave or go away.”
That was perhaps the place where Lacey would have faltered. She would have left long before he ever replied... but she had to at least know whether she was leaving someone who wanted her or couldn’t care less. “Thanks... for the help.”

“Thanks... for the help.”
Raccoon smiled. "I'm glad I could help. I wish ya the best of luck."
From the bottom of her heart, she hoped Lacey would be able to get back with the guy she loved.

”I’m glad I could help. I wish ya the best of luck.”
Lacey nodded, slowly dragging herself to her feet. She would need all the luck that she could get, but for now, she had a note to write.

Raccoon watched her go, glad she could help the other girl out. She just hoped everything would turn out well in the end. But for now, she would continue her walk through the park.
