Honey pays for his 30 papers, staring at the headline and scoffing. He moves out of the way for the next person to pay, then sits to the side, kicking the dirt and muttering. "How am I supposed t' sell dis?"

Pops got a stack of twenty, and started to read. "...Another stinkin' headline where the only thing sellin' 'em is us, huh?" He said out loud, looking over at Honey with a little grin. "Well, I'm sure we'll be fine, yeah?"

"How am I supposed t' sell dis?" Honey muttered as he kicked the dirt
"Well, I'm sure we'll be fine, yeah?" pops said with a grin. " Pops is right Honey," she said, smiling at the younger boy. "we just have to be creative."
all the younger boys reminded her of Frank. it gave her a sense of happiness, that his memory would always live on through them.

He turns to Opera. "I tried creative. It don't work most o' the time. Jus' drives people away." He sighs. "People are mean."

"... Wait, so..." He scoots closer, squinting. "So that word is 'The', yeah?" He's a quick learner, but he hasn't had the schooling to actually read. His voice is a bit loud, but he doesn't really notice if he disturbs anyone.

Opera smiled when Pops started to read to Honey.
"... Wait, so... So that word is 'The', yeah?"
she looked at the paper. her reading wasn't the best, but she got by. "yes Honey, that is 'the'" she said, while putting a handfull of reading practice cards in his hand. "these were my brothers. now they can help you with your reading." she gave him a sad smile, "don't lose them, they are of great value to me."

"...Oh. Well, who're ya looking for? I might pop 'round, take a look myself. It's the least I can do, y'know?" Pops grinned.
"my brothers selling-partner, the trail went cold in Hattan, on Franks grave there was a wooden tobacco case, with letters. all in very neat handwriting, and all sighned T.L." "Frank hated smoking, so i assume this other boy did smoke. the letters called my brother 'scout'. now i suggest you go to the Hattan lodge, maybe someone there knows something." she sat down next to Pops. "i feel like i am so close, yet i have so many questions." she sighed.

Pops went through, reading it out slowly and running his hand along the words, keeping track of where he was for Honey. A few words were a bit difficult, though, so he stumbled over some of the harder ones.
