Name: Michael Inglett
Nickname: Ace
Age: 18
Birthday: January 21st
Height: 5'9"
Borough: Hoboken
Occupation: newsie, part-time dishwasher at the Clam Broth House, sometimes a bird
Personality: Ace is of a loyal sort. He loves his family and home and would never dream of leaving them. He is well-liked and respected by most newsies. He can get along with practically anybody. He does his best to be friendly and not judge a person until he gets to know them. He's optimistic and tries to see the good in everyone and everything. He's always willing to lend a helping hand when needed and is rarely seen without a twinkle in his eye.
Description: Ace is decently tall though he doesn't look that tall. He has short light brown hair and hazel-green eyes.
Skills, Talents, Hobbies: Ace enjoys reading in his spare time. His little sister got him hooked into reading so he does so whenever he can. When he's not reading, Ace enjoys wandering around different boroughs and hanging out with friends. He loves playing cards and isn't too bad at playing. He doesn't bet money though when he plays. He's a good bird since he's friendly and easy to talk to. He has a good ear for catching news and has ties with other newsies from other boroughs in New Jersey and even New York. He actually somehow managed to befriend Rip once after getting soaked in Queens. The two aren't extremely close, but sometimes Rip will let Ace in Queens and slip info to him. Ace won't blab anything from Rip to the leader of Hoboken unless his leader specifically asks him to. He does get slightly irritated when other boroughs try to take advantage of his barely existing friendship with Rip.
Background: Ace is originally from Manhattan, but his parents moved across the Hudson to Hoboken when he was eight years old. At first, Ace didn't care for his new home, but he grew to think of it as home after his sister was born. A few years later, his father decided to head west for better chances and left his family behind. He promised to contact them as soon as he made enough money to come for them. He told Ace to take care of his mother and sister. Sadly, his father died in a wagon accident on his way West. Ace's mother died from shock, leaving Ace and his sister on their own. Putting on a brave face, Ace gathered the family's savings and used them to pay for rent at the lodges for him and his sister. Ever since then, Ace has been working hard to provide for himself and his little sister.
Other Notes: Ace's little sister is named Lottie. He absolutely adores her, and she practically has him wrapped around her finger (neither will admit it though). Lottie is ten years old. He lets her stay at the girls' lodge but refuses to let her be a newsie. He instead makes sure she goes to school and is a proper young lady. Also, Ace has a weakness for tea. He loves a good cup of tea especially during the winter. If you're really sneaky, you might be able catch sight of him purchasing tea at the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company. Also, besides being friends with Rip, Ace seems to have a special connection to Queens. Lottie has a vague idea, but other than her no one really knows why he likes Queens so much.
